Empanelment as external member to ICC’s in India:
Our consultants are lawyers, NGO affiliates and social workers. When you empanel a Cohere Consultants, you get the benefit of reaching out for advise from legal experts, gender trainers, counselors, psychologists, de-addiction specialists and media and communication.
- Publication of contact details of the Consultant as the ICC member
- Responding to all telephonic and email queries/complaints of employees to the external consultant and advising the company accordingly
- Responding to all queries of Senior Management, HR, Legal and other ICC members as and when raised, with timely advice.
- Providing ongoing advisory services on preventive measures, policy changes etc.
- Assured availability for conducting inquiries and holding meetings.
In the event of a case of sexual harassment coming up:
- Advisory services from complaint receipt (whether verbal or in writing) to conciliation.
- Legal Services for conducting inquiry, preparation of inquiry report and post inquiry management
Drafting of policies, compliance notices and annual reports
We cover all labour laws and required compliance’s under them as well as advise on evolving case laws and upcoming law and policy.
- Orientation and training of key people, HR/ER, legal and Internal Complaints Committee (“ICC”) Members
- Training of mid management and employees on responsibilities under the law and workplace do’s and don’ts
- Workshops for NGO’s and Social Workers on understanding the alw and acting as external members
- General awareness workshops on knowing rights to combat GBV
Counseling and Mediation
Reorientation/sensitization/correctional training or counseling by legal, gender and medical experts for the aggrieved woman and the respondent is also available as per requirement.
Other services such as conducting gender audits and review of company practices & operations etc. are also undertaken by the consultants.
COHERE also works closely with agencies engaged in designing and creating workplace appropriate materials and content on sexual harassment and workplace discrimination awareness for dissemination in the workplace.
